We are not able to evaluate students for Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or Oppositional Defiance Disorder. ADD, ADHD, and ODD are medical conditions that require a medical diagnosis by a physician. If you suspect your child has one of these disorders, please reach out to your pediatrician. These disorders may sometimes interfere with your child's ability to learn and follow the CISD Student Code of Conduct. If your child has a diagnosis of ADD, ADHD, or ODD, your child may qualify for additional supports and services at school. Please let your child's teacher know if your child has been diagnosed with any of these diorders so we can provide your child with the right supports.
The window to have your student tested for the Gifted and Talented program will open in January. Parents will be notified in the Parent Newsletter once the window for testing opens up.
