The purpose of the Celina ISD Communications and Community Relations Department is to be responsible for directing and managing district communications, both internally and externally in order to build relationships that center on trust and transparency.

The district continually monitors conditions that could potentially disrupt our normal operation procedures. In the event that severe weather necessitates the closing of our district buildings, the district will make every effort to notify parents/guardians of any unexpected delays and/or closures as quickly as possible through the following communication venues:

• SCHOOL MESSENGER: The district will utilize School Messenger system to keep our parents/guardians up to date in regards to any circumstances that can affect our normal operation procedures. Families will be notified by email, phone call, and/or text through our school messenging system. • CELINA ISD WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA: A notice of delay or closure will be posted to our district website at https://www.celinaisd.com/,to the district's social media page, https://www.facebook.com/celinaisdtx, and on Twitter at Celina ISD (@CelinaISD).

• NEW MEDIA OUTLETS: The district will also utilize local television and radio stations to report delays and/or closures to include but not limited to, FOX4, WFAA 8, NBC 5, KTVT/Channel 11, KXII/Channel 12, 94.9 FM/KLTY, KRLD-AM, and 98.7 KLUV.

Peachjar organizes all important school and community information in one place! In addition to receiving emails from your school, look for the ‘Peachjar’ button or icon on your school website to view all active flyers.

Distribution of Nonschool Literature 

Written or printed materials, handbills, photographs, pictures, films, tapes, or other visual or auditory materials not sponsored by the District or by a District-affiliated school-support organization shall not be sold, circulated, distributed, or posted on any District premises by any District employee or by persons or groups not associated with the District, except in accordance with this policy. Information from community, outside organizations and/or businesses must be approved by the CISD Communications Department. Requests can be sent to communications@celinaisd.com
